An affordable studio apartment in Shoal Bay
The Location - This apartment is perfectly located 200 metres back from the beautiful Shoal Bay Beach and directly behind the Shoal Bay Resort. With clear turquoise waters and white sands it is the perfect holiday destination offering great swimming. You can hire kayaks, stand up paddle boards (open everyday during the high seasons of school holidays, long weekends and Easter) and bicycles. Shoal Bay would undoubtedly be one of the prettiest coastal towns Australia has to offer on the east coast. There are an array of cafes, restaurants and bars offering a delicious selection food along the waterfront. Wandering across the road from the apartment you will find a childrens playground and tennis court. Shoal Bay Bike hire can provide rackets and court hire. Continuing on to the eastern end of the bay is the magnificent Tomaree National Park with spectacular views from the top of Tomaree Mountain. Just a 5 minute drive in the opposite direction brings you to Nelson Bay. Fingal Bay Surf Lifesaving Club is a short drive away (approx. 2.3km) where you will find a surf patrolled swimming area and Learn to Surf Lessons during the warmer months.
The Apartment - Zenith Studio is a tidy, well kept affordable apartment, perfect for a young family looking for a great time away. The air conditioned open plan studio has been sectioned off by the furnishings to create a lounge, dining, bedroom and kitchen area. Features include a comfortable lounge suite, flat screen TV, DVD player, and ceiling fan. There is a split king bed plus two single beds perfect for a family or separate to accommodate four single adults. There is a basic kitchenette for guest use which includes a bar fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. The bathroom is separate and comes with a glass shower, vanity and toilet. Other features include sliding glass door access to a private rear courtyard with outdoor seating. The property is also equipped with a porta-cot and highchair for the youngest guest. Please note there is only off street parking.
There are definitely smoke alarms at this property.

super cheap and spatial room, the curtains completely black out making it a perfect sleep and the walk to the beach is incredibly short

The location was great however the apartment was incredibly unclean inside. There was not enough cutlery for 4 people, dirty cups and glasses in the cupboards. Couldn’t use the wardrobe as there was cockroach excrement. Dust everywhere.
