Enjoy a drink in a bar, lunch in one of the many cafes and restaurants, swimming or relaxing on the beach. You can hire Kayaks and Stand up paddle boards in the summer and Easter school holiday or hire a bicycle for a tour of the area. Only 800m away is the stunning Tomaree Mountain which offers magnificent views from the summit. Fingal Bay (patrolled surf beach) is only 2.5km away and Nelson Bay is 3km away.
The Unit - This lovely modern first floor studio apartment is the perfect place to relax for your next beach side getaway. Enjoy North facing seabreezes from the balcony which is fitted with a bar style table, comfortable bar stools and a small electric BBQ. Take in the magnificent water views of Shoal Bay and the surrounding headlands. The apartment offers a combined living and dining area featuring a round dining table and four chairs, a modern leather, sofa bed, lounge and a large flat screen, smart TV and a stereo radio/CD player. The property also comes fitted with ducted air conditioning and Wi-Fi. The functional kitchenette offers a toaster oven with an induction hot plate, kettle, microwave and a bar fridge.
The bedroom has a king bed and a mirrored built in robe, with the lounge offering a double sofa bed. Newly renovated walk in shower. There is no internal laundry however there is paid laundry facilities that you can use at the Ramada. One car space in a secure car park is provided for you with lift access up to your apartment.
There are definitely smoke alarms at this property.
Linen is provided at this property and the main king bed will be made for guest convenience.

A/C problems
Good location and apartment. Airconditioning was not effective in bedroom and as their was a function downstairs on two nights we were not able to open balcony doors owing to noise. Despite using zones on a/c control it was not effective and all four nights were uncomfortable. Not good value for money.

Perfect relaxing holiday spot
Everything from booking to checking in and our was a breeze. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Room was true to photos and had a beautiful view direct onto shoal bay beach. Would definitely recommend.

Shoal Bay Escape
The apartment's location is great and the facilities are generally very good.The experience was spoiled somewhat by dirty spa bath outlets and exhaust fan and difficulty in locating the parking.
