With extensive under cover decking on three sides of the house, and marvellous views available through 180 degrees, what better way to experience Magnetic Island at its best.Tranquility Base boasts sensational views of Picnic Bay, Cleveland Bay, Hawkings Point and the hills and valleys of the islands rocky interior and is only a short walk to two different beaches.Tranquility Base can accommodate up to 8 guests in 2 queen 1 king (can be split into 2 singles) and 2 single bunks.Watch the sunset with access to the owners-only deck (one of the few places in Eastern Australia where you can watch the sunset over water), or take a short walk to the communal deck on the headland. Tranquility Base is surrounded by the beautiful indigenous vegetation of the dry tropics, including hoop pines, kapok trees, soap trees, Townsville wattles, spinifex, native frangipani, native gardenias and paperbarks. There are many opportunities for wildlife encounters, including rock wallabies and possums. There are many interesting birds in the local area including sunbirds, Brahminy kites, figbirds, rainbow bee-eaters, forest kingfishers, spangled drongos and the islands ubiquitous bush stone curlews.Property features include, a double hammock on external deck, pool & spa, Bose stereo system, Miele appliances, a large shade sail over pool, outdoor lounges, generous recycled teak dining tables indoor and outdoor, Italian leather lounges inside, hoop pine wall and ceiling linings in living area and Photovoltaic array (part of Solar Cities program)
