Bawley Point Beaches. Some of the best on the Coast!
Bawley Beach is protected by the large southern headland (Bawley Point) which features two popular surf breaks. On the northern protected side of the point there is a jetty and a boat ramp great for fishing and paddling. The break near the jetty is called Guillotines and is popular with body boarders.
Cormorant Beach backs onto a small area of wetlands is a short pet friendly beach, perfect for walking the dog and going for a dip. You can also walk around the northern headland at low tide to access neighbouring Bawley Beach. Dogs are allowed to run off-leash on this beach 24-7
Gannet Beach is a short beach in Bawley Point south of Jurwin Head which is great for snorkelling and surfing. It is accessible from Malibu Drive at various points along the beach. The beach is often quiet but attracts crowds in summer for its beauty and sometimes smaller waves.
Please note: This property is self-contained but not serviced. Linen, sheets, towels, toiletries etc are not provided. Everyday items such as rubbish bags, cleaning products, soap, toilet paper etc are also not provided.

Sensational spot
We just finished a week stay in this lovely quaint house looking over the beach at Bawley Point. It was fantastic. The view is unreal.

Very tired old beach house
This accommodation is pretty poor. Only sleeps 4 not 5 as no rail on top bunk. Exposed nails and very loose wires on deck fencing a real hazard for kids. Dirty cushions, rubbish crockery, broken furniture and the oven still not able to close. Tired, scruffy and depressing. The location is great and the view terrific but the noreaster blows so hard at this spot, its mostly unusable after early morning. Stay elsewhere.

Great location
Great location with easy access to Bawley Beach. Lovely outlook over reserve and to beach and beautiful bird life. House is basic, feels a bit tired and unloved. Fine for the two of us.

Extremely basic but a great view
We really enjoyed the view and location. However, it is too basic for the tariff charged when comparing it to other properties available with the same or similar views. It needs serious updating; oven door did not close, no wardrobe in the second bedroom and an ancient one with sticky draws in the main bed room, no toilet paper or washing up scourer was supplied, etc. etc. The bed room windows in the second room were nailed so as to only open a few centimetres, so no breeze could come through and there was no fan. It rained when we were there and had to tow our daughters' car out of the steep and slippery grass driveway with our four wheel drive.
