Easy Summer Living at Shoal Bay

The Location -This modern apartment is located in 'The Shoal' opening in December 2016. Situated one street back from popular Shoal Bay Beach and to many cafes, restaurants and boutique shops.Shoal Bay beach is a lovely pristine beach good for swimming and you can hire Kayaks and paddle boards in the high season school holidays and at Easter. There are many cycle tracks leading to either Nelson Bay (3km away) and to Fingal Bay (4km away), bike hire is available in Shoal Bay. There are also a selection of beautiful walking tracks in the Tomaree National Park and to the summit of Tomaree Mountain which offers spectacular views over Port Stephens and the Bay.

The Apartment - This fourth floor air conditioned apartment has lift access and offers great water views over the bay from the balcony which is fitted with outdoor furnishings and a gas BBQ. The open plan apartment offers an air conditioned sitting area with a leather lounge suite and large flat screen TV, a dining table and a fully equipped kitchen with a cook top, wall mounted oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The main bedroom is air conditioned and has a queen size bed and the second bedroom has a double bed and a single bed plus air conditioning. The bathroom has a large shower, vanity and toilet, the internal laundry offers a washing machine and dryer. There is secure undercover parking for one car.

Linen and bed makes are provided for this property.

Please note that there are security cameras installed in the common areas of The Shoal. There are no cameras in individual apartments.

Nice apartment

Nice clean property with some minor maintenance issues in the bathroom. It would also be nice to have blinds on the bedrooms that actually block the sunlight in early morning. Overall, it was very comfortable and clean with all you need for a week long stay. We would return.

Phenomenal location

The location and lodging was fantastic. The apartment was clean. The kitchen had what we needed. And everything we wanted to do was in walking distance. We would happily stay there again.

Easter trip

Everything was great except there was nothing to clean benches or dishes (unable to be washed in the dishwasher). Just some dishwashing (not dishwasher) detergent would help.
