Family getaway at the bay

Great care has gone into creating this wonderful family holiday home, conveniently located between Shoal Bay and Little Beach. The kids will be kept busy splashing in the calm bay waters, building sand castles or playing on the foreshore which offers a playground, free BBQ facilities and plenty of grass to run around. If you're feeling adventurous, make sure you pack your snorkels for Fly Point and your walking shoes to head up Tomaree Head Summit walk.

Once the kids have tired out from a fun day at the beach, simply relax in this cosy 2-bedroom unit which offers a tiled open plan living area with 42-inch flat screen TV and Blu-ray DVD, plus sliding door access to an L-shaped balcony with gas BBQ and 2-seater sun lounge. The stylish modern kitchen comes with a dishwasher and plenty of bench space to prepare meals for dining in or alfresco, and the bathroom features a separate bath and shower. There is also a baby high chair provided.

The master bedroom has a queen bed, double futon lounge and built-in robe, while the 2nd bedroom offers a tri-bunk and 32-inch flat screen TV with built-in Blu-ray DVD, plus access to the rear balcony. Other features include internal laundry facilities with washing machine (no dryer available) and on street parking.

Everything you need is right at hand, but if you feel like venturing further, Nelson Bay CBD and marina are approximately 2.4km away, where you will find award-winning restaurants, cafes, boutique shops, entertainment for the kids and daily dolphin watching cruises, as well as whale watching cruises between mid-May to mid-November. You can enjoy bistro meals, raffles and entertainment at Wests Nelson Bay Club, or check out the championship 27-hole golf course and club house, bowling club or tennis courts.
