Beach cottage in Shoal Bay!
This cosy little renovated beach cottage is situated in a quiet area in Shoal Bay, less than 10 minute's walk to the scenic bush paths that will take you to secluded Box and Wreck Beaches, and from there, just 5 minutes to the water.
It's also just over a 1km easy walk to Shoal Bay Beach and the row of restaurants, cafes, pubs and shops along the foreshore. Take advantage of the free BBQ and picnic facilities along the waterfront reserve, and if you brought your boat you can launch it at the boat ramp.
Entrance is at the rear of this lovely holiday cottage. Head up via the external stairs to the air-conditioned open plan lounge and dining area and the brand new kitchen which is well-equipped with a dishwasher, oven, fridge/freezer and microwave. This floor also has the main bathroom, with a shower and separate toilet.
The living area leads out to the front balcony where you can sit back and catch the cool sea breeze. The fantastic entertaining deck is at the rear and overlooks the large, fully fenced yard with stair access. There is a covered patio area on the ground floor with a gas BBQ - host a family BBQ on a warm summers night and watch from the balcony as the kids run around on the grass.
Downstairs, you'll find 3 bedrooms. The main bedroom has a queen bed and built-in robe, while the other 2 bedrooms offer 2 single beds in each. There is also access to a laundry with a washing machine, and a second bathroom off the laundry which has another shower and toilet.
Off-street parking is available for 2 vehicles, with space to also park your boat.

Out of Control
Property is of average condition but great location.
Management company is absolutely disgusting, no communications and is way out of control.
I will stick to local Agents from now on.

Good location, nice back yard and deck area
The house was ok although you should note that access to the 2nd toilet is via outdoor stairs and is separate to main house. You need a key to unlock it each time. Also, a lot of external stairs to carry your luggage up!
Nice deck area which we used often and ate meals there. Kitchen good. Bathroom small but also fine. Bedrooms ok (one bed was broken by previous guests but management offered to send someone to fix it - we weren’t using it so said it could wait until we left).
Overall cleanliness was only ok. Bit dusty and some left over rubbish inside and spilling out of the outdoor bins - they were overflowing from previous guests so we had no outdoor bins to use. Some holes in fly screens which let on mozzies!
Location good, quiet at night. 10-15 min walk to shops. Excellent cycling paths in the area and we enjoyed Fingal Beach.
Staff at Winning holidays were all friendly and efficient.

Enjoyed our stay
My family enjoyed their stay here. Although it was small but it was comfy and cosy. Close to Shoal Bay, short 3min drive or 8-10min walk. Clean and tidy the beds were pretty good to sleep on. Loved the patio out the back and BBQ area downstairs was great! Pity the gas bottle was missing but we managed to borrow from our friends who are locals. Lovely area!

Disappointed
Location great, facilities good, comfortable but we were a little disappointed on arrival property was dirty, kitchen oven and fridge not clean, etc and sand in bathrooms and floor. No clean mops or vacuum either.
