Across the road, just steps from your front door is the southern end of Fingal Bay Beach, known to the locals as 'Kiddies Corner' as the calmer waters are ideal for small children to swim, and a boat ramp to launch your vessel. The pristine white sand beach winds along the coast, offering endless opportunities for swimming, past the popular surf beach in front of the surf lifesaving club (patrolled in season) and up to the famous Fingal Spit. The spit can be crossed at low tide (with caution, check times with surf club) to view the ruins of the outer lighthouse residence. Just 350m from your duplex you will find walking trails at Barry Park, and a lookout where you can watch humpback whales migrate north from mid-May to August and south from August to mid-November with their newborn calves. The local restaurant, cafes, grocery shop, a fantastic children's playground and great tree-lined pathways for walking and bike riding are all at your fingertips. Shoal Bay is just 3.5km away and Nelson Bay is a short 6.5km drive.
This 2-storey, contemporary duplex is perfectly positioned, overlooking the pristine coastline, with strategically designed windows drawing the beautiful views in. Boasting all modern inclusions, it has ducted air-conditioning and lovely polished floors upstairs and split systems in the downstairs bedrooms. It also features a sleek, fully equipped kitchen and an open plan living area with a large LCD TV & DVD, plus free WIFI, and the property has a Foxtel dish so you can bring your own box with you and have access to Foxtel.
The property even comes with its own lift, giving you peace of mind with elderly or disabled guests and the convenience of transporting your luggage or shopping upstairs. There are 2 balconies, one with magnificent water views and another private one overlooking trees. Both feature quality outdoor furnishings and a BBQ, and are perfect for outdoor dining with the best view in town.
The master bedroom is upstairs and has a queen bed and ensuite with a roll-in shower, as well as a single trundle bed in the robe, and the other 2 bedrooms are downstairs, one with a queen bed and the other with 2 single beds. An internal laundry with washer and dryer and double lock up garage completes this magnificent holiday property.

Lovely but lacking basics
The property is lovely with a great location and we paid top dollar for that. It would have been nice if the property came with basics like toilet paper, Internet/WiFi access, mattresses that don’t have you wake up with a sore back and flat pillows. For what we paid, we expected these basics to be provided. The BBQ also needed a good scrubbing.

What a piece of paradise
We booked last minute for a quick stay as I could not take a lot of time off work. I was coming from Sydney so could still work remotely. Wow I feel like I have had a holiday from four full days of mixing the two together.
This place I could not fault to the point that my kids had bucket and spades as well as shade is f they needed to take to beach.
We sat on the balcony until 11am in the winter sunshine until the shade came over and forced us out for our day.
I book a lot of stayz accom and I can recommend this.

what a great place to stay with my family.
Beach directly across the street, convenience store and cafes within 2 min walk. We will be sure to return to this lovely clean modern home.

Lack of Some basic amenities (salt/pepper shakers empty, 0No
Oil, no cleaning products for wiping benches) and some cleanliness issues greasy marks on dining table. Greasy prints on kitchen cupboard doors) and plates returned to cupboard that were not cleaned properly.
