Your location for a beachside holiday doesn't get any better than this – head downstairs (2 flights of stairs), cross the road, and you're on the sand! The magnificent stretch of Shoal Bay Beach and its soft white sand offers calm swimming and picturesque coastal walks, or if you're up for something a little more adventurous, give stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing or snorkelling a go. You're also spoilt for choice for dining out, with the numerous cafes, restaurants and bars that line the foreshore all within easy walking distance, as well as a range of convenient shops, including groceries, right on the ground floor of the Bay Village complex.
The Shoal Bay Foreshore is a wonderful family holiday location, offering excellent free BBQ facilities and sheltered picnic areas along the beachside reserve. This unit puts you right in the heart of the action, close to the Tomaree Head Summit Walk and a host of other great walking tracks, as well as the fabulous surf beach of Fingal Bay, and the township of Nelson Bay is only 3km away.
This stylish and welcoming top floor unit is at the front of the Bay Village complex with spectacular water views, so you can sit back, relax and watch the boats go by. Step out onto the balcony and sit in the ocean breeze, breathing in the fresh, salty air as you listen to the gentle splashes and gaze out at the dazzling panorama before you – this is just the way holidays are meant to be. The open plan living space fitted with floorboards throughout offers pretty styling with a fresh, coastal vibe, and features a comfortable lounge suite that looks out to the water and a flat screen TV. The modern dining table has bench style seating and the well equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave.
Sleeping a total of 6 people, there is a double bed in the main bedroom, and the 2nd bedroom has a double bed and a set of bunks. The modern bathroom is fitted with both a standard size bath and a separate glass shower and toilet. You also have access to a communal laundry and a single carpark in the complex garage, located underneath the complex.

Nice Apartment - No heating provided
Perfectly positioned overlooking the water at Shoal Bay. We stayed here during the first weekend of September and the unit was freezing. There was a little fan heater which did not work and the unit is completely tiled throughout with no floor rugs in the lounge room, which made it hard to relax given the cold weather during our stay. There was a lot of dust and dirt under the beds and on the fridge and in the cupboards. All the cups and glasses were filthy in the cupboard, the cleaners should really check these items before guests "check in". It takes a long time for the water to run hot in all taps, which is obviously due to the building itself and the communal hot water system, it's just the fact that you have to let the water run for so long for it to get warm, which is wasteful given that we are in severe drought. Take winter woollies and slippers if the weather is cold.

Convenient location
Tastefully updated apartment. Great views. Can be a little noisy as it fronts the main street and is located between a busy pub and shopping area, but that's a fair compromise for the views and convenience. Enjoyed our stay and would return.

Stunning views ,perfect location
The apartment has great views, it’s reasonable in price. However it’s in great need of TLC especially in the kitchen. The Communication and any response from the number we were giving was extremely poor! They couldn’t answer the basic questions since I was travelling with disabled person. Btw the apartment is in second floor if any one want to know.
Yes it has fans in every room and a sofa bed.
If I could suggest one think to make it easy for gusts ... a map or maybe someone with the key in the location because to guide find the address car park even laundry was a challenge.

Lovely location, very noisy
Perfect location in shoal bay, beautiful balcony views. The bedding was unfortunately uncomfortable and it was very noisy at night due to the shoal bay country club next door.

Disappointing
The management from Winnings was disappointing. I had to ring three times in order to get a confirmation email. This email had no information on it about how to access the property. When I went to the office to pick up the keys none of the ladies knew anything about this property or how to access it. (It is above shops so not simple access) Thankfully when we got to the back of the property another resident happened to be there who was able to tell us how and where to use one of the keys to access the secure parking spot. If he hadn’t been there we wouldn’t have known. Apparently there is a shared laundry space in the block of units but no-one from Winnings told us about it. The property was not as clean as we expected, especially seeing we are in COVID!! My daughter found pubic hairs in her bed and there were also pubic hairs in the bath. There was sand on the floor and the coffee table was dirty. There were food scraps in the bottom of the dishwasher. The view is lovely from this apartment, which is why we chose it, but we wouldn’t stay here again and we are very disappointed in the service from Winnings.
