Right on your doorstep you are spoilt with the energetic atmosphere of Shoal Bay, a truly beautiful beach offering great swimming and a chance to unwind. For the more adventurous, there are kayaks, stand up paddle boards (open everyday during the high seasons of school holidays, long weekends and Easter) and bicycles for hire, secluded walking tracks nearby through Tomaree National Park, and a number of other surf beaches. Be sure to do the popular Tomaree Head Summit Walk to discover the spectacular views of the surrounding coastline. Just a 5-minute drive (3km) will take you to Nelson Bay CBD and Marina where you can shop, eat, head out on a dolphin cruise or choose from a range of other activities in town.
This cosy and welcoming unit is designed for your comfort with air-conditioning in the living area and ceiling fans in the bedrooms. The alfresco balcony area offers amazing views over the water – cook up a BBQ and dine outside with some refreshing drinks, taking in that fresh salty air. Short stay for Christmas getaway.
Positives : Great location right across from the beach, as well as bus stop directly outside to Nelson Bay, nice lounge/ dining area, with convenient shops below. Nice view from balcony, though not great seats for little ones (bar stools)
Negative: Was noisy at night in main bedroom, even with window closed. Stairs from both garage & up to apartment very narrow (no lifts). Not much Working area or cupboard space in kitchen, mainly due to fridge sticking out & blocking some of the drawers. Though it was a bit expensive for what you get.

Unit is in a great spot, close proximity to shops/restaurants and beach. Bit small for children. Beds uncomfortable and shower pressure too low.

Little family getaway
Great location, spacious apartment with all the appliances needed for a long stay.
Very noisy at night, could hear people on the beach and partying at all hours of the night.
