At Aura Apartments, you can park the car and forget about it. You will be within walking distance of cafes, shops, and restaurants, including the popular Game Fishing Club and the Country Club Hotel, as well as your choice of beaches for swimming or water activities, the public wharf, the boat ramp to launch the jet-ski, bike hire, and BBQ and picnic facilities along the foreshore. If you do want to venture slightly further afield, other local attractions include an array of water sports, golf, sand boarding, camel rides, and Murrays Brewery to name a few.
This stunning apartment has an air-conditioned, open plan living area with a fully equipped modern kitchen and breakfast bar, plus a comfortable lounge, flat screen TV and DVD player. WIFI is, of course, also included. The large balcony on this level is completely covered and has an outdoor setting to enjoy your home cooked meals.
Head up one flight of internal stairs to the private rooftop terrace – the ultimate entertaining area boasting an outdoor kitchen with built-in gas BBQ, sink and mini bar fridge, a large dining set and, best of all, an outdoor spa! This area is completed with a gorgeous sun bed on the raised deck with breathtaking water views out through the headlands.
The 2 bedrooms each offer balcony access, ceiling fans and built-in robes, and the main queen bedroom also has air-conditioning, a flat screen TV and ensuite with walk-in shower. There is also a main bathroom with a bath, walk-in shower and toilet, plus an internal laundry with a washing machine and dryer, and 2 car spaces for you in the secure complex garage. Lift access from the garage takes you straight to the main floor of the apartment.

Great location
Lovely location, close to everything. Outside areas were not very clean, bbq very dirty. Furniture different to what is shown in photos, much older style.

Unfortunately disappointing
First impressions were terrible. When we arrived at the apartment which was just after 2pm (just after check in time) we found the property in a disgustingly unclean state. Trying to contact the property managers was difficult but after numerous attempts they finally said a cleaner was on the way. After a long drive to get there we were really disappointed to have to wait over 2 hours until we could check in to a clean apartment. When you are paying $400 plus a night you really expect a higher level of cleanliness not to mention the extra importance of this during COVID-19. Apart from the location was great and we do love Shoal Bay.

Great apartment in super location
Great place for a long weekend. Quiet and spacious. Spa on rooftop was amazing. We stayed in and cooked each evening and the kitchen was well equiped. Will be back

Great location
Great spot, very spacious and just as pictured, perfect for 2 couples with some great restaurants within a couple of minutes walk, view from upstairs deck was lovely and we really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. Highly recommend.

Perfect location and a great property
We had a lovely stay at this property. The location is fantastic, just across the road from the beach with cafes and restaurants right out front. The property was clean, beds were comfortable and the rooftop terrace with spa was wonderful. Unfortunately the BBQ was very dirty and the gas bottle completely empty when we arrived and I received no response from the management company when I emailed regarding this. I also advise anyone staying to take their own dishwashing liquid and dishwasher tablets (also washing machine powder) as the 'care package' provided is not sufficient.
All in all, it's a great property and we would definitely stay again. Port Stephens is a wonderful part of NSW, there is so much to see and do!

Good location
Just across from the beach , very good outdoor areas but they were not very clean. The bbq was dirty. Good size apartment , some different furniture than in the photos and more old fashioned.
